Yet another attack at Larry's NLEC

As reported by the RFT ,KMOX, KSDK, KMOV, and KTVI yet another attack at Larry's shelter of shame.

Attack at NLEC RFT

Attack at NLEC KMOX

Attack at NLEC KSDK

Attack at NLEC KMOV

Attack at NLEC KTVI

Attack at NLEC STLToday

Attack at NLEC Springfield-News Leader

This just is more evidence that Larry's NLEC is a detriment to our neighborhood, we've had a fatal stabbing earlier this year,a chainsaw attack at his other facility, a rape at another in Springfield, and now yet another attack where a woman who has worked there for many years is lying in a hospital fighting for her life.

How many more people have to die and lie in a hospital until Larry realizes that his organization does more harm than good.  How many more until his "donors" realize  that they are contributing to the problem?

Every donation to NLEC takes away needed funds to organizations that actually work like St. Patricks and Centenary Church.

Weekend Boat Fun

Well, we decided to take a weekend off from our continued cleaning and actually enjoy the park.  It was great to see a lot of people out there with their kids and dogs Saturday morning enjoying Lucas Park.

When I was Luke's age my Great Uncle Fred Hartman built a boat from scratch and used to take me out to the lake to sail it around.  I kept the boat and named Luke after him (Lukas Hartman Martello) because I thought he was a great inspiration in my life.  He taught me how to hunt, fish, make things from scratch, etc.  A wonderful time when I was a kid.  I thought it would be great to take Luke out and float the ol' boat around.

So to that end he had a great time and enjoyed it thoroughly.  I got a lot of positive comments on the boat, and a lot of people were really surprised that it wasn't a kit, but that it was hand built from scratch by an old carpenter.
